AUSTIN, TX – Dylan Blackthorn announces his debut album ‘small flames’ shall be celebrated with a live concert featuring musicians from around the country, gathered together for this rare full band concert appearance. Dr. $ick, of Squirrel Nut Zippers fame, will join the band as well as Longhorn band alumni Tom Crail on Tuba and bass, Micheal “the Professor” Rubin with his Encyclopediae Harmonicae, and many more.
April Fool’s Day, 2021, marks the date – the show will take place at Sagebrush Bar in Austin, Texas. Opening band Walter Daniels & the Del Valle Trustees will open the stage at 7PM, Dylan Blackthorn & the small flames band start at 9pm, to be followed by honky tonkers the Pearl Snap Playboys until 2am. This show will take place outdoors, with social distancing and face masks required for entry.
